Students traveled to South Africa and returned to the @therhinoorphanage to work with conservationists and field biologists to see and experience first hand how orphaned rhinos are rehabilitated so they can be rewilded.
Students also learned about the issues surrounding poaching and the trade in rhino horn.

16 of our High School students worked to gain their Wilderness First Responder Certification on their service trip to Thailand!
They had the opportunity to participate in a rural health outreach project monitoring hypertension screening by @rusticpathways and also had the opportunity to visit the temples and night markets of Chiang Mai.

Last week our Grade 5 students went to clean up the beach in the Al Zubarah UNESCO World Heritage Site with the help of @deapqatar and a special guest Dr. Kate O’Neill from the University of California-Berkeley @ucberkeleyofficial.
Our Dragons learned about the circular economy and the impact waste (plastic pollution) has in our environment.

On Tuesday, January 30th 2024, thirteen of our High School students concluded their three month project based internship program at The Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority.
Students were given an authentic problem regarding financial literacy within Singapore, Jordan, China and the UK. To conclude the program, they presented it to the @qfcra management.
