The American School of Doha (ASD) is committed to sustaining a legacy of academic excellence. Testament to this legacy are the results achieved in the recent International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) examinations completed in May of 2019.

Lower Elementary students participated in The Hour of Code!
ASD hosted a Boys Basketball Tournament with local teams as well as AISJ in South Africa.
The Middle School band and choir delighted the audience with their first concert of the year. Most of the Grade 6 students are new to playing an instrument and performing, and they were amazing!
Students of all ages and parents engaged in design thinking, engineering, building, and making.
Middle School students exchanged ideas and gave each other feedback on their science projects.
IB Global Politics Year 2 students visited Georgetown University and participated in a roundtable discussion on Power and Politics in the Middle East.
